Rigoletto

With double the width at 300 cm this finely shimmering satin Rigoletto seamlessly follows on from the success story of the nya nordiska classic Aida. Matter than the latter and softer in drape it represents a contemporary twist on the universally deployable plains made of 100% PES. Its 20 colour variations range from popular non-colours and light, modern tones like powder, peach or sky through to its classically opulent shades. This means across interiors displaying the most varied of styles Rigoletto always strikes the right plain tone.

The young tri-colour stripe fabric Alabama Stripe made of pure linen impresses through its wonderfully caressing touch. The colour range of the airy, semi-transparent natural fibre fabric reaches from fresh summer colours over pastel and aqua hues up to non-colours. Thanks to the generous width of the stripes, the fabric can also be applied laterally. The light decoration fabric is ideally fitting for panels and table linen, also in combination with its counterpart Alabama in plain in the same quality of material.

To the point. These organic-looking dot elements were conceived by Bodo Sperlein and have their origin in the designer’s own handprint. A reference to nature and craftsmanship is also exuded by the textile interpretation of the motif. The dotting in this semi-transparent drapery fabric looks crosshatched and is as individual in its outline as its natural prototype. In five soft non-colours, this Trevira CS fabric adds a finely measured touch of exuberance in the contract sector.

The elementary art of interiors. This expressive, large-format design care of Bodo Sperlein has its creative roots in Vorticism, a specifically English contribution to Modernism. Parallel to Cubism, this art form emerged in the early 20th century. Bodo Sperlein has now reinterpreted it for our millennium. As a generous jacquard pattern on a very fine thread cotton base, Blast’s Vorticist Cubist motif reveals its graphic effect in situ convincing us as a flambuoyant eyecatcher.
