Aurora

“Every beginning has its magic.”

                           Hermann Hesse

Just as the Goddess Aurora embodies the magic of dawn, our 2025 collection captures the magic of daybreak in all its facets. The natural inspirations, creatively incorporated into the weave, colours and textures of our fabrics, range from the colour spectrum of sunrise in the eastern sky to the soft focus of morning mist and the highlights of shimmering dewdrops. They bring the charm of dawn into your home opening up a boundless array of fresh possi-bilities, capturing the magic of every new beginning.

.

An Atmosphere of Brightness and Warmth

The Aurora Collection invites you into a waking garden to experience the dawn through the medium of textiles. Roya, Olmo and Marani bring the colours and reflections of the first rays of sun to windows and cushions in a way that is as expressive as it is homely. Cleo, Golda and Alvaro sprinkle the finely balanced highlights of morning dew onto fabrics with a delicate, net-like structure, matt linen and soft wool melange, gently reviving them with their lustre. Just like the floral designs Enola and Meda, whose blossoms unfold on a shimmering background, sometimes like fine embroidery and sometimes with a striking silhouette. The different degrees of transparency of the rising morning mist are subtly interpreted by Yoko, Levino and Lani, while Kaya FR and Litha CS are dedicated to soften sunlight nicely. Finally, with their soft feel that caresses the fingertips, Jarou and Mattia FR prove that Aurora is a feast for all the senses every day.

A Synergy of Fascination and Function

The nya nordiska 2025 collection meets the needs and desires of our time in all respects. Along with high quality and timelessness, naturalness and sustainability, this also includes functionality. Textiles are a key factor in regulating room temperature – both thermally and visually. The fabrics in the Aurora collection, for instance, not only impress with their beauty and radiance, but also by their ability to effectively and subtly moderate heat and cold. For living spaces that retain their magic throughout the day and the seasons.

A carpet of flowers, fresh as the morning dew. Enola exudes delicate floral charm in a drapery fabric that is as discreet as it is luxurious. Spring flowers in linen yarn resemble fine embroidery and look as if scattered lightly over the fine jacquard. The base fabric combines the sophisticated silky sheen and easy-care properties of polyester. Five delicate shades, each with a tone-on-tone design, bring out the exclusivity of this signature fabric.

Sparkling sun-dust. Golda captures the fine particles dancing in the morning light, imbuing this drapery fabric with movement and vitality. Between dewdrops and daybreak. Jarou has captured the most beautiful tones of an early garden stroll, transforming them into a semi-transparent, double-width, plain drapery fabric. Whether light ivory, sand and flax, warm hazel, peach and cinnamon, or expressive hunter, bordeaux and oak – there’s a perfectly matching shade for every ambience. Its blend of linen and cotton makes Jarou a pleasure to touch, with an extra-soft feel and flowing drape. Its casual look is best enjoyed un-ironed.

  • Kaya FR

Decorative solar eclipse. Kaya means “place of calm” in Japanese, and this is precisely the intention of this blackout drapery fabric with its all-round homely look. To this end, its light-blocking blackout layer is clad on both sides by a linen-look fabric with a cosy tactile feel. Available in mineral colours ranging from silver to anthracite, the flame-retardant blackout fabric, made from 90% recycled polyester, is equally suitable for domestic bedrooms and contract settings.

  • Lani

Cloudy but fair. Lani means “sky” – and this is precisely the association evoked by this drapery fabric with its finely composed blend of fibres. Fluffy and soft to look at and touch, its roughened linen pattern spreads like cumulus clouds over a matt shimmering viscose base. This heavenly effect is intensified when backlit, also accentuating its typical irregular linen texture. Four elegant shades in a fine balance from pearl to silver underscore its subtle interplay of depth and transparency.

  • Levino

Softener effect at the window. Like early morning mist that slowly lifts from the flora and fauna, Levino softens incoming light, gently blurring the illuminated contours in the room. The feather-light drapery fabric with a crêpe Georgette texture boasts a soft flow and beautiful twist thanks to its high-twist wool yarn, which also prevents it from creasing. Available in four wool colours and with a filigree texture, the semi-transparent fabric can be deployed for a delicate touch at any window adapting flexibly to any style.

  • Litha CS

Delicate thermostat. Litha CS offers another textile option for controlling heat and light. This lightweight drapery fabric boasts an extremely fine aluminium layer on its reverse, meaning its soft feel and semi-transparency are retained at the window. Despite this extraordinary lightness of the fibres and coating, the flame-retardant fabric reflects up to half of the incoming light, making it possible to regulate the temperature comfortably without darkening the room.

  • Lykke

A textile stroke of luck. Lykke (meaning luck, in English) injects both energy and rhythm into interiors. Its 28 tones come in the intensity of a low-sitting sun in autumn. Be it almond, olive, berry, peach, cinnamon, burgundy, curry, walnut or one of the other numerous options – here there’s a favourite shade for everyone. This 300 cm wide textile multi-talent combines a matt look with a particularly soft touch and can be used universally for curtains, blinds and as a lining or upholstery fabric. Lykke projects the natural appearance of a linen-cotton woven while in reality it is sustainably manufactured from recycled polyester.

  • Marani

In the light of the rising sun. The shimmering array of colours that unfurl in the morning garden under the first rays of sunlight is captured by drapery fabric Marani in eight fascinating multicoloured tones. Enhanced by the grainy look of its satin weave, this elegant plain appears in an ever-new changing light. The spectrum ranges from calm purism in white or sand to vibrant accents in lemon or ruby, with this elegant all-rounder making waves as a drapery, roman blind, cushion or upholstery fabric.

  • Mattia FR

Textile early bird. In the natural tones of the dawning day, upholstery fabric Mattia FR serves as a gentle awakening for the interior. It combines ten expressive plains, from smoke and orchid to hazel and rock, with a rustic look and cosy feel. The soft chenille yarn makes it ideal for upholstery, but also attractive as a heavy drapery fabric for cold days. Mattia FR is extremely robust, with 100,000 Martindale rubs, as well as being flame retardant and even washable. An ideal basic for both residential and contract settings.

  • Meda

Floral silhouettes. Meda is a textile statement exuding sophistication and exclusivity with every thread. Its design was inspired by lilies in full bloom, transformed into a graphic all-over pattern that appears traced in a single continuous stroke. The jacquard weave accentuates the three-dimensional effect of this elegant drapery fabric, which is also suitable for upholstery, giving it a delicate iridescence. Its five colour options look as if borrowed from a garden in full bloom.

  • Olea

Like sand on the sea. The semi-transparent gauze Olea is irresistible to the touch. Its soft wool bouclé yarn arouses associations with the finest powdery sand running through your fingers. A sensual experience that also becomes visible thanks to the irregular grain unfolding in delicate vertical lines. Each one of the seven natural tones ranging from stone to sand to sea blue exudes its very own mood in interiors. What they all have in common: the properties of the wool bouclé make for a pleasant indoor climate.

  • Olmo

Mapping out a new dawn. Olmo combines the colour palette of a sunrise with a geometric mosaic, giving the Aurora collection its distinctive look in the upholstery fabric segment. A modern take on a classic tapestry fabric, it brings warm tones from four colour worlds to its cubic contrasts. Mediterranean siena, earthy tabac, floral orchid and fashionable bordeaux each unfold their unique charm on a heavy linen-cotton weave with a grainy texture.

  • Roya

A magnificent natural spectacle. For Roya, the goddess of the dawn herself seems to have reached for the paintbrush and palette to artfully stage her appearance. Iridescent stripes on pure linen make this hand-painted drapery fabric in three colour harmonies a unique textile. When backlit, the brushstrokes of the repeat-free design come to the fore, while even illumination highlights its shine. Roya combines its exclusive look with everyday practicality as the elegant fabric is washable and can be ironed on the reverse.

  • Yoko

Ingeniously thread. Yoko’s unique look is the result of the sophisticated interplay between its weave and exclusive finish. An ingenious technique causes the high-quality Belgian linen to shrink in a controlled manner, thereby creating a wave effect in its semi-transparent chequerboard pattern. Used in a double-width format, the delicate weave is reminiscent of Japanese paper walls, also radiating the same puristic balance. In natural ivory, sand or silver tones, this fabric brings a meditative calm to any interior.
