Osmondo

The botanic pattern of signature fabric Osmondo made of pure linen looks hand-drawn with its fine lines. It features an all-over fern leaf applied to the basic fabric Nubia using a wet printing process. In four shades the soft linen satin looks like a pseudo plain from a distance while close up it reveals its refined foliage. Osmondo is washable.

Slub, colour deviations and slight irregularities are not flaws but are caused by using natural fibres. They add to the attrac- tiveness of these fibres. To avoid creases after washing, we recommend delicate laundry at wool setting. The manufacture of the article complies with the specifications of STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX.

The elementary art of interiors. This expressive, large-format design care of Bodo Sperlein has its creative roots in Vorticism, a specifically English contribution to Modernism. Parallel to Cubism, this art form emerged in the early 20th century. Bodo Sperlein has now reinterpreted it for our millennium. As a generous jacquard pattern on a very fine thread cotton base, Blast’s Vorticist Cubist motif reveals its graphic effect in situ convincing us as a flambuoyant eyecatcher.

Woven air. This is as sheer as it gets in textile window drapes. The single-coloured gauze Alva FR fuses feather-weight transparency with ingeniously iridescent colour schemes. Different colour combinations in warp and weft shimmer in a plethora of nuances when hit by light while a carefully selected scale of non-colours and discreet pastel shades make for modern elegance. This double-width fabric with an organza feel combines a visual “breath of nothing” with a pleasantly dimmed incidence of light in residential and contract interiors.

To the point. These organic-looking dot elements were conceived by Bodo Sperlein and have their origin in the designer’s own handprint. A reference to nature and craftsmanship is also exuded by the textile interpretation of the motif. The dotting in this semi-transparent drapery fabric looks crosshatched and is as individual in its outline as its natural prototype. In five soft non-colours, this Trevira CS fabric adds a finely measured touch of exuberance in the contract sector.
