Matisse Metal

Matisse Metal

Inspired by the French painter, the shiny and technically clever viscose embroidery of Matisse transforms our classic linen-satin Nubia into an expressionist piece of art. Its playful, graphic shapes come in soft powder and nude shades; Matisse Metal is extra glam thanks to its fine threads of shimmering Lurex. Perfect uni partner: Nubia.

There is hardly any design which embodies so perfectly the roots of nya nordiska in the Scandinavian design language as the classical bicoloured stripe designs Jota, Kappa and Alpha 2.0. Even wider block stripes give the fabrics in their new edition a refreshing modernity. Made of pure cotton, the washable and durable natural fibres can be used especially for upholstery, decoration and table sets – in a vivid interplay of colours, they can be combined with the check designs Jota-Check 2.0, Kappa-Check 2.0, Alpha-Check 2.0, the tri-colour stripes Delta, four-colour stripes Mega as well as plain fabric Zeta 2.0.

Alexis continues the popular nya nordiska devoré range. The elegant, soft floating decoration fabric has a wonderful touch and is available in two versions – Alexis Night enchants with widespread, interlaced shapes and a fascinating interplay of opaqueness and transparency. Alexis Day is the transparent equivalent in tender white nuances. The soft floating fabric is 310 centimetres wide and thus perfect for spacious application.

Buskage, a new edition from the 1970ies, stages the iconic purist print design by nya nordiska. The softly flowing cotton underlines elegantly the subtle layout of the lines and makes it hard to perceive how easy-care the fabric with polyester content is. Reduced grass design lined up like on a pearl necklace gives the special devoré fabric its name, which is derived from the Swedish language. The positive and negative variants in neutral off-white, which are for the first time available in a large-scale print width of 300 cm, guarantee versatile application options.
