Three red dot awards 2010 – Batou CS is "best of the best"
March 2010 | The Nya Nordiska novelties Arrakis, Batou CS and the concept panel tracks for the Nya Artline rail Quattro have been recently awarded with the red dot award: product design 2010. The award ceremony expecting more than 1.000 guests will take place on 05 July 2010 at the Opera House Essen.
Moreover, Batou CS, a delicate transparent weave with a pattern like a network created by a bulk thread, has been awarded “best of the best“ in the category product design. The red dot award by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen counts among the largest and most renowned design competitions in the world. No less than 58 Nya Nordiska products already gained the sought-after red dot for excellent design. Following Lia-Voco (1991), Borsellini (1998) and Katsu (2008), Batou CS is the fourth decoration fabric which has also been awarded "best of the best“. Besides the interior innovation award cologne, the red dot is already the second design award for Batou CS.
