Special award for Nya Walls
January 2012 | Nya Walls, the new product division by Nya Nordiska, has received
a special distinction from this year‘s Innovation Award Architecture Textile Object at trade fair Heimtextil. "The large textile wall panel succeeded in convincing all jury members by its innovative material technology with a very high degree of perfection and the lavish appearance", the jury judgment says. "The shimmering structure results into a motion of light, shadow and surface modulation, moreover, it provides very pleasant haptic and seduces to touch the panels."
On the occasion of trade fair Heimtextil 2012, the architecture trade magazines
AIT and "xia Intelligente Architektur" have offered this award for the ninth time.
The competition is intended for designer and producer of innovative products for the sectors home furnishings, contract equipment and interior solutions.
For Nya Walls, this is already the eighth design award since market launch.
