Nya Nordiska as part of Design Deutschland 2010

May 2010 | The fair stand of Nya Nordiska was decorated in purist black and white at the exhibition Design Germany 2010. The event took place on the occasion of Salone del Mobile at Milan, 14 to 19 April 2010. Apart from Nya Textiles novelties like Batou CS, Jolly Cut and Cestino, especially the Nya Artline rail system Quattro caused quite a stir. It was presented in a strongly curved design. The rails, available in different metal surfaces and colours leave nothing to be desired in respect of creative and customized interior furnishing.

Nya Nordiska was one of all in all five german companies which were represented with an own stand, additionally participating in the joint exhibition Design Germany 2010. The exhibition, curated by the German Design Council, showed ca. 100 product novelties by renowed german companies, but also 22 prototypes by young designers which partly have not yet been shown in public. The exhibits from different product groups exemplarily reflect the current german design philosophy.
The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) at New York will be the next station of the touring exhibition Design Germany 2010.
