Dear trade partners

The often-cited “silly season“ is commonly stated as a reason when events of marginal importance manage to gain the status of top news during summertime. This, however, is obviously not true with the Nya Nordiska newsletter. In this issue No. 21, we inform you about oncoming fair activities, especially about our attendance at the new trade fair Pure Textile at Cologne which will take place in January 2011.

The spectacular awards ceremony of the red dot award: product design 2010 in Essen, Germany, concluded the first half-year which proved to be very successful for Nya Nordiska. By now, we have received the forth award "best of the best" for a decoration fabric from a Nya Nordiska collection (Lia-Voco 1991, Borsellini 1998, Katsu 2008 and Batou CS 2010). This success once again confirms our assumption as ground-breaking company in the sector of interior design. A creative achievement which is only possible by team work and by keeping in touch with our partners.

Traditionally, we make use of the apparent break between the spring and autum fairs for the conception of the new collections and for dealing with questions of business strategies. So we were more or less incidentially hit by the striking news from New York about our exciting beauty Isabella. See for yourself!
