Nya Nordiska with "Design Germany" at ICFF New York
Within the exhibition "Design Germany", the Nya Nordiska Trevira fabrics Tatami CS and Ypsilon CS were presented at the ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) in New York from 16 to 19 May 2009. Counting more than 30.000 visitors from the interior und architectural sector, the ICFF is one of the most important design fairs wordwide.
"Design Germany 09" is an exhibition curated by the German Design Council. Since six years, Nya Nordiska has been one of the Council's foundation members. The exhibition presents a cross-section of successful german product design. After stations in Germany, Japan
and China, it was now shown in the United States for the first time, and has been very well received there, as the Council's executive director Andrej Kupetz is pleased to announce. "There is a high level of interest
in german design and german brands which is certainly a great plus factor in a currently difficult economic climate." "Design Germany" also convinced the jury of the ICFF Editors Award: The German Design Council has won the award for the best fair stand.
