Modern Fabric in a Historic Context

Under the creative guidance of Studio Elisa Ossino, architects’ office Mosca Partners and architecture magazine DAMn mastered the art of transformation: featuring Nya Nordiska’s Ray CS and Zeta 2.0 as textile protagonists a modern interpretation of textile interiors “moved into” one of Milan’s most opulent baroque palaces. In excess of 50,000 guests visited the exhibition “A Matter of Perception: LINKING MINDS” as part of Milan Design Week and found the Bistrot Litta Ventiquattro as well as the Palazzo Litta completely re-interpreted. Dominated by the lavish petrol green of Zeta 2.0 and the “disciplined” grid structure of Ray CS two contemporary places emerged here in a historic setting – a surprising staging that illustrated in a wonderful way how the skilful use of Nya Nordiska textiles can transform interiors.
