Isabella at fashion event in New York

July 2010 | The Nya Nordiska decoration fabric Isabella which has been awarded with several design prices, takes part with its colour 05 gold in the fashion event Sidewalk Catwalk in New York City. 30 display mannequins located along the Broadway are presenting the models of some of the top US fashion designers. Among them, you will find such well-known names as Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan and Isaac Mizrahi.

Since the model dresses will have to stand the conditions of an outdoor exhibition for about two months, the global materials consultancy "Material ConneXion" has been looking for especially vanguard and sustainable fabrics. The prominent designer duo Mark Badgley + James Mischka decided in favour of Isabella from Dannenberg. The decoration fabric, sponsored by Nya Nordiska, was transformed by them into a strapless wedding gown. The open-air event, taking place between Times Square and Herald Square, has been organized by the New York Fashion Center and is shown until 03 September 2010.
