To Nya Nordiska, Heimtextil each year belongs to the most important trade events. It is the largest international trade fair for textiles for private as well as for contract use and acts as a magnet for clients from all continents. Counting more than 86.000 visitors from 125 countries, Heimtextil 2008 can happily record a slight increase in attendance.
The international nature of this trade fair still makes up its outstanding feature. Around 64 percent of all visitors came from abroad. Nya Nordiska too welcomed clients from more than 45 countries for the presentation of the new collection at the fair stand. For our clients Heimtextil offers the only opportunity during the year to meet us personally. And we were very glad about good and interesting talk at the fringe of the trade business - which by the way took a more than satisfying course. With a share of 54 percent from the home market and 46 percent from overseas, the volume of orders exceeded previous years.
