Autumn novelties - collection 2010/2011
September 2010 | Noble yarns and fine weaves with a casual and straightforward performance – the Nya Nordiska autumn collection combines a high standard of quality with classic understatement. With their dry and sensual touch and their low-key gloss, our novelties respond to the growing demand for authenticity and warmth in the private sphere.
First of all, there are the two printed fabrics Bolzano and Merano which feel as comfortable within a cottage as in a welcoming city apartment. Florence, a floral cotton-Jacquard, seeks for a little bit more elegance. This fabric is suitable for a lot of living worlds, though, due to the discreet used-look caused by a pre-wash finish. With the unconventional basics Luxor and Medina, the sensual quality stands in the spotlight. Antaro provides the versatile upholstery fabric within the group. Even the transparent fabric Bengasi FR, the only novelty made of synthetic fibres, shows a natural look and feel. Finally, Yokato is conceived for the avant-gardists, a voluminous linen double weave - semi-transparent, but hardly to be overseen!
